Types of resources: Renewable and non-renewable resources.

Resources can be broadly classified into two main types: renewable resources and non-renewable resources. Here's an explanation of each type: 1. Renewable Resources: Renewable resources are natural resources that can be replenished or regenerated naturally over a relatively short period of time. They have the ability to renew or restore themselves through natural processes. These resources are considered sustainable as long as they are utilized within their replenishment rate. Examples of renewable resources include: a) Solar Energy: Solar energy is derived from the Sun and is a significant renewable resource. It is harnessed through technologies like solar panels and can be used for generating electricity, heating, and other applications. b) Wind Energy: Wind energy is obtained from the movement of air masses caused by solar heating and the Earth's rotation. Wind turbines capture this energy and convert it into electricity. c) Hydropower: Hydropower is generated from the energ...
